Cacao is a natural antioxidant, which protects and repairs the skin from free radical damage and premature ageing. It is also a potent anti-inflammatory, it soothes redness and blemishes to improve the skin's complexion. 

Cacoa seed extract or butter is high in fatty acids, which makes it great for hydrating, nourishing and improving skin elasticity. The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier to keep hydration and moisture locked in. Cacoa butter has healing properties which helps conditions like psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis. 

Calendula extracts contains properties that are anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial making it excellent for healing wounds, soothing  and clearing out infected pores to reduce risk of acne flare up. 

Camellia seed extract or oil is a rich source of Palmistic and Omega-6 Linoleic fatty acids, as well as numerous anti-aging polyphenol antioxidants. It is an excellent all-around ingredient to moisturise the skin. 

Carrageenan (extracted from red algae) has excellent water binding properties and works as a humectant to bind water onto our skin. It has skin soothing properties and is an excellent at keeping the moisture locked in.

Caster oil is derived from the Ricinus plant and has been used for thousands of years. It contains properties that are antibacterial and anti-inflammatory making it an ideal ingredient to help naturally clear pores and reduce acne flare up.

Cenosome, a proprietary ingredient by Enature that infuses 8 different types of skin nutrients including vitamins C, E, B5 and B12. Combined they work nourish, restore, protect and moisturise. Excellent for anti-ageing and hydration.

Centella Asiatica is a great source of amino acids which maintains the skin texture, resilience and reverses visible signs of sun damage. This is an excellent ingredient to revitalise and reinforce the skin barrier.

Ceratonia Siliqua (Carob) a proven ingredient with strong healing properties to naturally repair, reduces redness and strengthens the skin barrier. This is a very well rounded ingredient. 

The Chaga Mushroom (Fuscoporia obliqua) is sourced from birch trees in some of worlds the coldest climates. The Chaga extract is packed of antioxidants and nutrients, which deeply nourishes, heals and protects the skin from oxidative stress, great for anti-ageing. For this reason Chaga mushrooms continue to be widely used in medicinal practices.

It is especially good at obsorbing environmental pollutants and oils from the pores making it an ideal ingredient for those with oily acne prone skin. 

Chestnut also known as Castanea sativa are loaded with antiviral, anti-inflammatory properties excellent for treating irritated acne and infected skin. It is rich in antioxidant and loaded with flavonoids making it so effective at fighting free radical damage, increasing skin elasticity and collagen production! 

Chia seeds are an excellent natural source of fatty acids, rich in Omgea 3 and superb for increasing  protein synthesis! This helps strengthens, moisturises and plumps up the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as relieving dryness and peeling. Chia seed oil is also a great source of vitamin B3 and zinc, which helps reduce oily skin and reduce clogged pores.

Chondrus Crispus is a seaweed extract it is packed full of vitamins and sea minerals which nourish, softens and helps maintain healthy skin. It is also a skin conditioning agent and is used to help control of viscosity in an overall product.
